Meet the Jones Brothers
Bobby Jones
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a BS in Finance, Bobby started working at a local bank, quickly realizing that wasn’t what he wanted to do for a living. He had spent summers working with local builders and helping with family construction projects, so he decided to try building as a career. He started by building a spec home; soon after, he was contracted to build additional custom homes and has been building ever since. Bobby is a founding member of both the Lake Oconee Area Builder’s Association and the Madison-Morgan Homebuilder’s Association. He has served as President several times as well as being on both Board of Directors. Additionally, he has volunteered on several local civil boards. Bobby holds a State of Georgia Residential and Light Commercial Contractor’s License. Bobby lives in Madison with his wife, Agnes. He has two grown daughters, Ansley and Sarah.
Dan Jones
Dan graduated from Georgia Tech with a BS in Building Construction. After graduating college, he began a professional career with a nationally recognized apartment developer. He then moved into commercial construction working on restaurants, office structures and a health club. During this time, he graduated from Wharton Business School with a Masters in Finance and Real Estate. But after four years of restaurant development and corporate management experience, he decided to return to his passion for building which was the beginning of Jones & Jones. Dan has served in numerous official roles in the Madison-Morgan Homebuilders Association and has also served several terms on local design review boards. He currently serves on the Lake Oconee Builders Association Board of Directors. He holds a State of Georgia Residential and Light Commercial Contractor’s License. Dan also lives in Madison and has two grown sons, Bobby and Denham.
